Romy Rey (1938–2020) was born in Zurich, Switzerland, studied in Geneva and Paris, and settled in Richmond, near London, where she worked as a translator and a partner in bookshops before becoming a diligent oil painter and artefacts collector.
Her artwork is categorised Ancient and Tribal, Dreamscapes, Landscapes and Geometrics. Romy’s work has been displayed in galleries throughout the UK and is held in private collections in England, Switzerland, France, Germany, Mexico and Brazil.
